Madison Trust Recognizes Projects, People
With Six 2008 Preservation Awards
The Madison Trust presented its annual Preservation Awards on May 1, 2008. Winners were nominated by members of the Madison Trust. Board members visited each property and, using restoration guidelines.
The event was held at the Orpheum Theatre and attended by more 130 people. Professor Arnold Alanen presented a lecture titled, “Preserving Modernism: Challenges on the UW-Madison Campus.”
The annual awards event is one way the Madison Trust meets its mission of education and advocacy on behalf of the area’s historic built heritage.
